The White Carnation is a novel-based audio drama written and produced by Randi Anderson.

Synopsis

An obscure prophecy, written in the lines of a sonnet, will bring together souls from hell and purgatory, united against a spreading evil that puts saints in hell and devils in the high places. The prophet’s son, Felicity (JauntyHat), is wrongly exiled from purgatory, and soon finds himself rescued from death by a young banshee named Caitir (Merodi). As he gets to know her and her strangely good-hearted (albeit tormented) friends, his own suspicions of the corruption are confirmed. Soon they are all thrown into battle—against the enemy, against themselves—and into a journey of love, sacrifice, and redemption.

Maturity Rating

This story was never intended for young children or even middle school-age kids, as the content will be fairly mature. Don't worry, nothing gratuitous...I have morals. For the sake of language, however, I'm going with R.
